I believe anxiety is a product of worry. When issues and lifes situations continue to go unresloved, over time, they can accumulate and become overwhelming. As these issues race through the mind, and a solution is not found, the path to "what if" appears. If one situation has 5 "what if" possibilities, imagine what 10 unresolved situations could produce.
Pretty soon all of these unresolved conclusions will be racing through your mind. None of which you have any control over. It is this lack of control that will make you anxious.
